Well, its officially summer as of June 21, but the outrageous heat declared it summer long before then. Its been in the 90’s for weeks now, and its not even July! I could go on and on… We’ve introduced Romy to the neighborhood pool, and we have discovered this kid loves to swim. No fear of the water. Someone will be needing swimming lessons soon….
Today Wayne and I actually had the good fortune of having a willing grandparent(Mimi) take Romy for a few hours while Mama and Papa went to the pool and got to read(!) and relax(!) .It was amazing…..iced tea, books, adult conversation, warm sun and cool water. What more could you want? Thank you Mimi!
